The best way to plan a Marin Open Studios tour is to visit the Preview Gallery Exhibition at Bon Air Center. Each of the participating artists has one of their works on display and artist docents are on hand to answer questions. Galleries are located at 160 Bon Air Center and 286 Bon Air Center.

The Exhibition at Bon Air Center stays open from April 22 - May 17. Gallery hours are: Tuesday-Saturday, 11-6pm, Sunday 11-5pm. Closed on Mondays.

The Preview Gala on April 26th from 5pm-8pm is the ART PARTY of the YEAR, is open to the public, and kicks off the event.

Tomato Market & Shift to Electric Car Rally

Tomato Market 9:30am - noon
Marin Master Gardeners host the 9th annual Tomato Market, with 17 varieties of tomato plants for sale. Plants are hand grown from seed and a team of Master Gardeners will be at the market to help you choose the best varieties for your micro climate, and answer your planting and care questions.

Proceeds from the Tomato Market support the Marin Master Gardeners in their mission of extending research-based knowledge and information on home horticulture, pest management, and sustainable landscape practices to the community.

The Tomato Market is from 9:30 AM - 12 PM at Bon Air Center.
Come early, many varieties sell out quickly! Cash or check only.

New! Shift to Electric Car Rally 8:30am - noon
Celebrate the joys and benefits of EV (Electric Vehicle) driving! 35 drivers of all makes and models of EVs will participate. The rally stops at Bon Air Center where they’ll park and display their cars for the public from 10am – 11:30am. Drivers will be on hand to chat about their cars and answer questions for the “EV-Curious.”

Dealerships will be at Bon Air Center to offer test drives of EVs, including Nissan LEAF and others to be announced. Drives are offered from 8:30am – Noon on a first-come basis.

Also scheduled is the Solar Powered Popsicle Truck. Come learn about installing solar on your vehicle so you can "drive on sunshine."

The event will benefit Cool the Earth, a non-profit that teaches kids in grades K-8 the basic science of climate change, and inspires them to take actions with their families to reduce their carbon footprint. Meet them from 10am – 11:30am and find out more.

2nd Annual Greenbrae Mini Maker Faire returns to Bon Air Center!

It's a family-friendly festival of invention, creativity and imagination, celebrating the Maker in all of us.

Part science fair, part county fair, and part something entirely new, Maker Faire is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists, and students. All of these “makers” come to Maker Faire to show what they have made and to share what they have learned.
